Static IP Address A Static IP Address is unique to a particular computer. In the United States, IP Addresses are generally considered not to be personally identifiable information because in most cases an IP Address is dynamic, rather than static. In the European Union, IP Addresses are generally considered to be identifiable information, because, if requested to do so, an ISP is able to determine which computer has received a certain IP Address on a certain date, at a certain hour. |
